DESCALEX POWDER is a dry acid cleaner used for removing scale and rust deposits over aluminum, copper, zinc, galvanized metals, steel boilers, cooling systems, ejection machines, condense lines and climate systems.

What is Aquatuff?

Aquatuff is a strong water based alkaline cleaner primarily designed to provide numerous cleaning applications including: Cleaning of vegetable oils, animal oils, fatty acids, fish oils, grease, waxes, oil, sludge soot, carbon deposits and general dirt and grime. Cleaning of inert gas soot in cargo tanks.

How do you use Disclean?

Directions for use

  1. Removing the separator disc stack and soaking in a solution of Unitor™ Disclean. Circulating the solution and heating will enhance the cleaning.
  2. Removing the separator discs and dismantling stack, then soaking discs in Unitor™ Disclean. Circulating and heating the solution will enhance the cleaning.

What is SAF acid?

SAF-ACID. SAF-ACID is a special blend of sulfamic acid, wetting agent and color indicator. The wetting agent enhances the action of the sulfamic acid in removing deposits by its surface-active cleaning properties.

Is descaler harmful?

What can I use as a descaling agent?

How do you use Aquatuff?

  1. Apply Unitor™ Aquatuff™ mixed 10–25% in water, using spray foam equipment.
  2. Leave for 30–45 minutes. The surface remains wet.
  3. Wash down with a high pressure unit. For best results, direct the high pressure jet at the lowest parts of the hold first and work upwards.
  4. Repeat the procedure if necessary.

Start applying Unitor™ Slip Coat Plus™ from top and downwards. Allow the film to dry completely before loading the cargo a process which takes 1-2 hours depending on air and surface temperature and humidity. Note that larger amounts of Unitor™ Slip Coat Plus™ may end up at tank top when holds are sprayed.

How do you use metal Brite?

For removal of rust stains on painted surfaces and wood, Unitor™ Metal Brite™ should be applied at full strength for heavy stains, or diluted to 30–50% for light stains. Allow to soak for 20 to 30 minutes and wash off with water. A second application may be necessary to remove the stubborn stains.

Are Descalers safe?

Strongly acidic descaling agents are usually corrosive to the eyes and skin, and can also attack and degrade clothing fibres, so appropriate protection such as rubber gloves and plastic aprons should be used in cleaning operations.
